Privacy & collection of information

The Motor Neurone Disease Association of Queensland Inc is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We will only use or disclose personal information for the purpose for which it was collected unless:
(a) you have given consent to use it in another way;
(b) disclosure is required for law enforcement purposes;
(c) disclosure is reasonably necessary to avoid risk to health and safety of a particular individual or the society at large; or
(d) if MND Queensland reasonably expects that you would consent to use or disclose information in another way.

We will take reasonable steps to keep secure any information that we hold about you so as to avoid misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure of your information.  If you are providing personal information via an email or an online form, you should be aware that there are some risks in transmitting data via the Internet.  

MND Queensland uses its best endeavours to ensure that the information it obtains from you is accurate, complete and up to date. You may request MND Queensland to change information held about you, or revoke your consent to hold information about you at any time by contacting us in writing.
